The story
Carolina Detail Co. is a family-owned detailing shop that has served the Lowcountry since 2013, and now carries the torch for Gloss Boss CHS, which merged into Carolina Detail Co. From their North Charleston facility at 2390 Air Park Rd, they offer the full spectrum of vehicle care: multi-stage paint correction, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, window tinting, and secure indoor vehicle storage with ongoing care. They also run fully equipped mobile units and even handle marine and aviation detailing.

- 01Ceramic CoatingsA liquid polymer that bonds to the paint and cures into a hard, water beading layer, so dirt rinses off easier and the gloss holds for years rather than months.
- 02Paint Protection FilmA clear urethane film laid over the paint so rock chips and scratches hit the film instead of the panel. Most modern films self heal light marks with heat.
- 03Paint CorrectionMachine polishing that actually removes swirl marks and light scratches from the clear coat, rather than filling them in so they reappear after a wash.
